About the event

Tower Hamlets and Hackney Friends of the Earth will be screening Sauvages, a stop-motion adventure following a young girl and her cousin in Borneo as they fight to protect the rainforest. Blending humour, tenderness, and urgency, the film explores colonial legacy, environmental destruction, and human responsibility through the eyes of children and endangered orangutans in a visually rich, handcrafted world. Please note - the screening will kick off at 7:30pm sharp with no interval, and the film lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes. Of course, you are welcome to get a snack, take a break or use the bathroom at any point during the film.
